1. Bespoke Orders & Quotes

Our Bespoke Order Builder allows you to submit custom requests for cakes, cupcakes, cake pops, and cookies. Submitting a request does not constitute a guaranteed booking or a binding contract. All orders are subject to availability and will only be confirmed once a formal quote has been accepted and a deposit is received.

2. Payment & Deposit Policy

To secure your custom baking slot, the following payment terms apply:

• A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to secure bookings.
• The remaining 50% balance must be paid at least 3 business days prior to delivery or collection.
• For orders placed with less than 7 days notice, full 100% payment is required at the time of booking.

3. Order Modifications & Cancellations

We prepare bakes, source specific ingredients, and create bespoke toppers in advance:

• Changes to designs, flavors, or sizes must be requested at least 5 business days before the scheduled collection or delivery date.
• Cancellations made more than 7 days prior to the date will receive a full refund of payments made, excluding the non-refundable 50% deposit.
• Cancellations made within 3 days of the event date are non-refundable as ingredients have been prepared and design work has commenced.

4. Collection & Delivery

Customers can choose between direct collection or Gauteng-wide delivery:

If choosing delivery, CakeBoxSA takes ultimate care to deliver your cakes in pristine condition. However, once a cake has been successfully delivered and handed over, or picked up by the customer, CakeBoxSA is no longer liable for any damage that occurs during transportation by the customer or subsequent handling at the venue.

5. Allergens & Dietary Information

Our baked goods may contain or come into contact with common allergens, including dairy, eggs, wheat, gluten, nuts, and soy. While we take maximum precautions to prevent cross-contamination, CakeBoxSA cannot guarantee any product is entirely allergen-free. It is the customer's responsibility to notify us of any allergies prior to ordering.
